'Is this Real?' challenges a viewer's ability to perceive reality in photography, it looks to the modern world's impact on our ability to tell which images are real and which have been altered for visual effect. By using the female form in this manner it references the platform to which images such as these would be found. For example, within lingerie product advertisement, the female form is used to promote the idealised appearance of the form using their product. Within exhibition the card seen to the right was presented along with the prints, and with participants completing the form, only two people were able to tell the real from the doctored. You too can test your own ability to interpret this by hovering over a box under the image you think is real, revealing whether you have chosen correctly.
